Basketball Recap: Tri-Valley Has No Trouble Against Tanalian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shaktoolik, Tri-Valley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 64-44 margin over the Tanalian Lynx. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 20 points or more this season.

Tanalian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Erik McGee, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. McGee is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least four every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Warren Davis, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

Tri-Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Tanalian, they moved to 3-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Tri-Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-32 win against Bristol Bay on the 24th. Tanalian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
