Volleyball Game Preview: Leo Lions vs. Fort Wayne South Side Archers

The Leo Lions will head out to take on the Fort Wayne South Side Archers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It was a proper cat-fight when Leo challenged Fort Wayne Snider on Saturday. The Lions fell 3-1 to the Panthers. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Leo had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 17-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne South Side didn't have quite enough to beat Warsaw on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Fort Wayne South Side now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Leo, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.

Leo skirted past Fort Wayne South Side 2-1 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
