Softball Recap: Fort Bend Bush Comes Up Short

After flying high against Stafford last Friday, Fort Bend Bush came back down to earth. The Fort Bend Bush Broncos fell just short of the Fort Bend Clements Rangers by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The loss was the Broncos' first of the season.

Kalee Willis made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. She has been hot recently, having also posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alayna Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fort Bend Bush fell to 4-1-1. As for Fort Bend Clements, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Fort Bend Bush will look to defend their home field on Friday against Fort Bend Hightower at 6:00 p.m. Fort Bend Bush is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season. As for Fort Bend Clements, they will head out on the road to take on Fort Bend Austin at 6:00 p.m. on March 4th.
