Softball Game Preview: West Side Eagles vs. Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks

The West Side Eagles will face off against the Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

West Side made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Pangburn, but they still couldn't quite topple them. West Side was the clear victor by a 15-3 margin over Pangburn last Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the game before.

Meanwhile, Mt. Vernon-Enola earned a 6-3 victory over Hope last Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warhawks.

The win got West Side back to even at 1-1. As for Mt. Vernon-Enola, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

West Side beat Mt. Vernon-Enola 7-4 in their previous meeting back in May of 2022. Does West Side have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mt. Vernon-Enola turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
