Softball Recap: Camarillo Comes Up Short

If Camarillo was riding high fresh off their 11-4 takedown of Oxnard on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Scorpions fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. The Scorpions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 11-4.

Camarillo now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Oxnard, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Camarillo will take on Burroughs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Oxnard, they will challenge Canyon at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
