Basketball Recap: Valor Academy Comes Up Short

Valor Academy saw some tournament action on Monday. They were beaten by the San Diego Cavers 82-24.

Despite the loss, Valor Academy still got an impressive performance from Maliqui Van Arsdale, who posted 14 points.

Valor Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for San Diego, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Valor Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Designs University Park at 2:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for San Diego, they will be taking part in a tournament against Windward at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
