Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minersville). They blew past the North Schuylkill Spartans 82-34 on Friday. The Battlin' Miners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Minersville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dante Carr out in front who went 10 for 17 en route to 22 points and three steals. With that strong performance, Carr is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Logan Hutsko was another key player, putting up 11 points along with six boards and three steals.

Minersville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.5 points. As for North Schuylkill, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Minersville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 73-37 win against Marian Catholic on the 1st. As for North Schuylkill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tamaqua at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
