Basketball Recap: Crew Jorde Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Arcadia

Mesquite won the last time they faced Arcadia and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mesquite Wildcats took down the Arcadia Titans 66-48.

Mesquite got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Crew Jorde out in front who posted 12 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Jack Raslavsky, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds.

Mesquite is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Arcadia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.

Mesquite didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-52 loss against Cactus Shadows on the 24th. Arcadia has also already played their next game, an 80-73 defeat against Marcos de Niza on the 24th.
