Softball Recap: Baldwin Bruins vs. Island Trees Bulldogs
On Wednesday, the Baldwin Bruins suffered a tough 15-2 loss at the hands of the Island Trees Bulldogs. Baldwin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
For Island Trees' part, Danielle Donahue made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Donahue has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Donahue was also big at the plate, scoring two runs.
