Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mineral County). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Coleville Wolves 62-0. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Chase Reeves continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 82 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries, while also throwing for 167 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes. What's more, he posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in August of 2024. Jonathan Serrato was in the mix as well, providing Mineral County with two TDs.

Mineral County's run defense was locked in: Coleville could only muster 2.7 yards per carry. The team can thank Quentin Isom for the heroic effort on defense: he. Mineral County didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 12.9.

Christopher Orozco was especially locked on to Coleville's QB and sacked him twice. Mineral County received some extra help from Orozco, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

The victory (which was Mineral County's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average over those games. As for Coleville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
