Basketball Game Preview: Freeport Bulldogs vs. Crestview Bulldogs

The Freeport Bulldogs will square off against the Crestview Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Freeport has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight defeats, while Crestview will come in with three straight victories.

Last Monday, Freeport ended up a good deal behind Ponce De Leon and lost 51-33.

Despite their loss, Freeport saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jasmine Miles, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Emma Ludwig was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, everything went Crestview's way against Laurel Hill on Monday as Crestview made off with a 65-41 win.

Freeport's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Crestview, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Freeport couldn't quite finish off Crestview in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 67-65. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Crestview's Natalie Toney, who made all 8 shots she took to post 21 points along with seven boards and four blocks.
