Volleyball Recap: Silver Lake Regional Takes a Loss

Silver Lake Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the New Bedford Whalers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Whalers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Silver Lake Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for New Bedford, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silver Lake Regional will head out to challenge Brockton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for New Bedford, they will venture away from home to face off against Greater New Bedford RVT at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
