Volleyball Game Preview: Arrowhead Warhawks vs. Hartford Orioles

Arrowhead is a perfect 6-0 against Hartford since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warhawks will look to defend their home court against the Orioles at 7:00 p.m. Arrowhead is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Arrowhead won the last time they faced Mukwonago and Siena MacCudden did her part to make sure it happened again. The Warhawks came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from MacCudden, who had 11 digs and four aces. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Arrowhead took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Hartford didn't have quite enough to beat West Bend East on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Hartford has also been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-21 record this season. As for Arrowhead, their victory bumped their record up to 27-13.

Arrowhead beat Hartford 2-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Do the Warhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Orioles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
