Basketball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Southside's Winning Streak

If Southside was riding high fresh off their 94-29 takedown of Thomasville on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Southside Panthers took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Payne Wildcats on Saturday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.
