Caledonia posted their closest win since December 3, 2024 on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-46 victory over the Jenison Wildcats. The Fighting Scots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Caledonia's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Jenison, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caledonia won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mona Shores at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Fighting Scots will be up against the Sailors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Jenison, they and Byron Center will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
