Basketball Recap: Buckhorn Piles Up the Points Against June Buchanan

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Knox Central, Buckhorn was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 69-23 victory over the June Buchanan Crusaders. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Buckhorn's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-9. As for June Buchanan, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Buckhorn has already played their next match, a 73-42 victory against Cordia on the 28th. As for June Buchanan, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Letcher County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
