After failing to score in their last game, Slippery Rock made sure to put some goals up on the board against Sharon on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Tigers. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Slippery Rock hit Sharon with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gracie Hoehn (2), Brielle Jordan (2), and Shareen Thangiah (2).

Slippery Rock now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Sharon, they dropped their record down to 1-4-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Slippery Rock will venture away from home to challenge Wilmington at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wilmington will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Slippery Rock surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sharon, they will head out to square off against Hickory at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
