Volleyball Game Preview: Hampden Broncos vs. Mount Desert Island Trojans

Hampden is 1-7 against Mount Desert Island since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Broncos will challenge the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Hampden made easy work of Camden Hills and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Mount Desert Island faced Ellsworth in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Trojans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 21-25, 25-20, 25-13.

Hampden's record is now 4-6. As for Mount Desert Island, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
