Soccer Game Preview: Carlson vs. Melvindale + How To Watch

The Carlson Marauders will head out to take on the Melvindale Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Melvindale took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Carlson, who comes in off a win.

Carlson's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Annapolis as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Carlson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of 17 wins, Melvindale's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 3-1 to Crestwood. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Melvindale couldn't push the score so high this time.

Melvindale's loss dropped their record down to 20-3-1. As for Carlson, their win bumped their record up to 8-6-2.

Carlson skirted past Melvindale 2-1 in their previous matchup back in September of 2023. Will the Marauders repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
