Baseball Game Preview: Lee Christian Falcons vs. New Life Christian Academy Warriors

The Lee Christian Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the New Life Christian Academy Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Life Christian Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lee Christian, who comes in off a win.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Lee Christian duked it out with Central Carolina Academy on Tuesday. The Falcons came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 10-5.

Kaydan Brower made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Lee Christian is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 0-4 otherwise. Brower was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Patrick Grant was a standout: he scored three runs and stole two bases. Another player making a difference was Jordan Fritts, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Meanwhile, New Life Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Wilson Christian Academy, falling 10-4.

Lee Christian's record is now 2-5. As for New Life Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Lee Christian suffered a grim 26-8 defeat to New Life Christian Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
