Basketball Game Preview: Sultan Turks vs. Renton Red Hawks

The Sultan Turks will square off against the Renton Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sultan will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Sultan beat Foster 35-27. Given the Turks' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 168th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 350th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cedarcrest typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Renton proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 43-37 victory over the Red Wolves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Hawks.

Sultan pushed their record up to 14-8 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points over those games. As for Renton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-19.
