Soccer Recap: Stratford Comes Up Short

If Stratford was feeling good fresh off their 6-2 takedown of Houston Math Science & Tech last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stratford Spartans fell just short of the Fort Bend Clements Rangers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Theo Bigirimana and Rendle Tarkan scored both of Stratford's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Stratford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Fort Bend Clements, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Stratford has already played their next contest (against Dickinson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fort Bend Clements has already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Deer Park on the 17th.
