Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Charles College Prep). They were the clear victor by a 70-44 margin over the Leesville Wampus Cats on Tuesday. Given the Trailblazers' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Wampus Cats are ranked 182nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Juriah Matthews had an outrageously good game as he posted 19 points. Jaiven Matthews was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Lake Charles College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Leesville, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.
