Softball Recap: Bloomington South Beats Bloomington North for Their Third Straight Win

Bloomington South let Bloomington North stack four runs on them in the fourth inning on Tuesday but luckily Bloomington South prevailed anyway. The Panthers walked away with a 7-4 win over the Cougars. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Rachel Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carly Reed, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Sloane Barrett was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Bloomington South hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.
