Basketball Recap: Omaha Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Omaha Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Conestoga Cougars. The Eagles lost against the Cougars in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 66-20 score last time.

Omaha Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Conestoga, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Omaha Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Omaha Nation on February 4th. As for Conestoga, they will be playing at home against Raymond Central at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
