Newport Harbor won the last time they faced Marina and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Sailors walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Vikings.

The final score came out to 25-17, 23-25, 25-18, 25-18.

Newport Harbor's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Marina, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Newport Harbor is set to challenge their familiar foe Huntington Beach at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Marina will square off against rival Los Alamitos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
