Baseball Recap: NSU University Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

NSU University won the last time they faced Westminster Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Sharks came out on top against the Lions by a score of 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Tevvy Rabinowitz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Christian MacGillivray, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradyn Potter, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

NSU University pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Westminster Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-11.

Coming up, NSU University will challenge JC Bermudez Doral at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westminster Academy, they will take on Hialeah Educational Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
