Baseball Recap: Westfield Comes Up Short

Enrique Gonzalez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Edwards, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Westfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Spring, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat Westfield by a score of 7-4 on Saturday.
