After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tolman, Middletown was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Mt. Pleasant Kilties by a score of 23-16. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Islanders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Middletown's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2. As for Mt. Pleasant, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Middletown will head out to challenge Cranston East at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will welcome Coventry at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
