Volleyball Recap: Declan Mccumber and Dominic Bennett Secure Win for Carroll

Carroll barely beat East Noble the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chargers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: East Noble scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-23.

Leading Carroll to victory were Dominic Bennett and Declan McCumber. Bennett had 15 assists and five digs, while McCumber had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces McCumber has posted over his last two matchups.

Carroll pushed their record up to 23-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for East Noble, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Noble, they will square off against Fort Wayne Northrop at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
