Baseball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 11-6 to the Kentlake Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 last Monday.

Myles Myers was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He has become a key player for Jefferson: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Kentlake, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.

Coming up, Jefferson will welcome Liberty at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kentlake, they will head out to face off against Federal Way at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
