Basketball Game Preview: Shenandoah Mustangs vs. St. Albert Falcons

Shenandoah is 1-9 against St. Albert since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Shenandoah Mustangs will host the St. Albert Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Shenandoah will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Shenandoah will bounce into Friday's game after beating Clarinda, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Shenandoah came out on top against Clarinda by a score of 54-46 on Monday. The 54-point effort marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when St. Albert faced off against Underwood on Monday. St. Albert fell just short of Underwood by a score of 52-50. The Falcons have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Shenandoah now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. Albert, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Shenandoah was taken down by St. Albert 71-44 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Shenandoah avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
