Softball Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

West Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to the Central Red Devils.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 12-20. As for Central, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 36-3.

Coming up, West Point will take on Cullman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Bearcats at the right time seeing as the Bearcats are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-0 win against Belgreen on the 19th.
