Union was handed a four-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They beat the Grantsville Cowboys by a goal, winning 3-2. This was a revenge game for Union: when they faced off against Grantsville back in March, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Union hit Grantsville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Carlos Estrada, Donavan Jensen, and Andrus Jensen.

Union's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Grantsville, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11.
