Softball Recap: Cody Takes a Loss

Cody was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Campbell County Camels, falling 22-5. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Broncs of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Amelia Reinker was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and one double. Another player making a difference was Paige Kondelis, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Cody's record is now 0-3. As for Campbell County, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

While Cody had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
