Basketball Recap: Augusta E Takes a Loss

Augusta E was the 49-48 winner over Mead Hall Episcopal School when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 57-42 bruising from the Panthers on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mead Hall Episcopal School was led to victory by Justin Bowdre and Marlee Baker. Bowdre dropped a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Baker posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrique Williams, who had eight points.

Augusta E now has a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Augusta E will square off against Georgia School for Innovation & Classics at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mead Hall Episcopal School, they will face off against Wardlaw Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
