Soccer Recap: Piedmont Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Piedmont and North Buncombe squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Piedmont had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Black Hawks by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Piedmont couldn't push the score so high this time.

Piedmont's loss dropped their record down to 12-5-4. As for North Buncombe, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Piedmont nor North Buncombe have any future games scheduled.
