Soccer Game Preview: St. Mary's vs. Kellenberg Memorial

St. Mary hasn't had much luck against Kellenberg Memorial recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Gaels will face off against the Firebirds at 4:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

St. Mary's lost 7-1 to St. John the Baptist on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Kellenberg Memorial has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 13. They and Gill St. Bernard's finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Kellenberg Memorial's draw gives them a new season record of 7-6-5. As for St. Mary's, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

St. Mary's might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Kellenberg Memorial in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Gaels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
