Saraland is a perfect 5-0 against St. Paul's Episcopal since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Spartans will look to defend their home field against the Saints at 7:00 p.m. Saraland will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Saraland's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 28-0 victory over Baldwin County. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won five matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Saraland's win came down to the chemistry between Jamison Roberts and his top target Deshawn Spencer. Roberts threw for 206 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Spencer gained 96 total yards and two touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Saraland's defense and their three sacks. Keoni Snipes refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Another thorn in Baldwin County's side was Snipes, who picked up 1.5 sacks and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, St. Paul's Episcopal's game on Friday was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 27-23 victory over Gulf Shores. Those 27 points were actually the fewest the Saints have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Saraland's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Saraland has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 176.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like St. Paul's Episcopal struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 245 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Saraland didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against St. Paul's Episcopal in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 19-14 win.
