Basketball Recap: Dominican Victorious

Dominican proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 63) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Sun Prairie West Wolves 51-49.

Dominican is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points over those games. As for Sun Prairie West, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Dominican is facing Racine Lutheran at the right time seeing as Racine Lutheran is stuck on a 21-game losing streak. As for Sun Prairie West, they are taking a road trip to challenge Madison East at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Madison East's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
