Basketball Recap: Orange Glen Takes a Loss

Orange Glen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 56-49 to the Rock Academy Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-47 back in January.

Leading Rock Academy to victory were James Whitley and Roland Balderramos. Whitley dropped a double-double with 24 points and 11 boards, while Balderramos dropped a double-double with 25 points and ten rebounds. Whitley's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Christian Elkins also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Orange Glen's loss dropped their record down to 0-28. As for Rock Academy, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-25.

As of now, neither Orange Glen nor Rock Academy have any future games scheduled.
