 The Mountain Heritage Cougars had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. In a tight  game that could have gone either way, they made off with a  42-41 win over Rosman. Winning may never get old, but Mountain Heritage sure is getting used to it with their 22nd in a row.
 It was another big night for  Keira Wilson, who  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and ten  rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as she's  now  pulled down nine or more in the last four games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaydence Kooles, who  scored eight points.
 Despite the loss, Rosman still got an impressive performance from   Alissa Cheek, who  scored 22 points. That was a full 53.7% of Rosman's points, marking the third time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Lexi Powell (sykes), who  scored nine points.
 Mountain Heritage pushed their record up to 26-2 with that  win, which was their 13th straight  at home. Those good results were due in large part to their  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Rosman, their loss  ended a four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 21-6.
 Mountain Heritage has the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Hiwassee Dam at 7:00  p.m.  on March 5th. Hopefully Mountain Heritage focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 17 on Friday. Rosman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
