Grenada has relied on a stalwart pitcher averaging 3.18 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against the South Panola Tigers, falling 15-0. The Chargers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Grenada's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-7. As for South Panola, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.
