Basketball Game Preview: Quincy Trojans vs. Portola Tigers

Quincy and Portola are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2022, but not for long. The Quincy Trojans will challenge the Portola Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Quincy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Quincy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-54 to Biggs.

Meanwhile, Portola didn't have too much trouble with Williams on Tuesday as they won 64-45.

Quincy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Portola, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Quincy strolled past Portola in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 71-54. Will Quincy repeat their success, or does Portola have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
