Softball Recap: Liverpool Takes a Loss

Liverpool lost against Cicero-North Syracuse on May 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors fell just short of the Northstars by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liverpool's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Coming up, Liverpool will welcome Fayetteville-Manlius at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, they will face off against Chittenango at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Northstars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season.
