Volleyball Recap: Brookfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Brookfield had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 4-6 to make it four. They fell just short of the Newton Falls Tigers by a score of 3-2. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 25-18 in the first set.

When it comes to explaining why Brookfield lost, don't look at Alexia Baker. Despite the final result, she had 25 digs and five aces. Baker is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

As for Newton Falls, they now have a winning record of 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted against Brookfield since September 24, 2020.

Newton Falls' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madalyn Knight, who had 16 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Knight has posted over her last six matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Pope, who had eight digs and six aces.
