White Oak scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 49-44 to D.H. Conley. Despite 296 more yards than D.H. Conley, White Oak couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Josh Smith threw for 307 yards and four TDs while picking up 14.0 yards per attempt. Edrick Pineda was his top target, picking up 162 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead D.H. Conley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kalijah Booth, who rushed for 51 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries. Elijah Taft was another key back, rushing for 76 yards and one TD.

White Oak moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for D.H. Conley, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, White Oak will welcome New Bern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
