Volleyball Game Preview: Salem Rocks vs. Pinckney Pirates + How To Watch

The Salem Rocks will venture away from home to face off against the Pinckney Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Salem is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Salem came up short against Brighton and fell 3-1.

Salem started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Pinckney suffered their biggest defeat since September 23rd on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Tecumseh.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-9, 25-14.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Pinckney, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11-1.

Salem couldn't quite get it done against Pinckney in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Rocks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
