Dobyns-Bennett faced Science Hill in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Indians never let the Hilltoppers get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by exactly three runs.

Dobyns-Bennett is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Science Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 31-12.

Coming up, Dobyns-Bennett will be playing in front of their home fans against Farragut on Wednesday. As for Science Hill, they will venture away from home to take on Oak Ridge on Wednesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Hilltoppers surely won't give up without a fight.
