Basketball Game Preview: Boothbay Seahawks vs. Mountain Valley Falcons

The Boothbay Seahawks will face off against the Mountain Valley Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Boothbay is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Boothbay had to suffer through a 54-25 loss at the hands of North Yarmouth Academy.

Meanwhile, Mountain Valley came into Friday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Mt. Blue with a 37-32 win on Friday.

The victory got Mountain Valley back to even at 6-6. As for Boothbay, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Boothbay suffered a grim 55-33 defeat to Mountain Valley in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Boothbay avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
